Last Thursday, MTEK’s CEO Mattias Andersson attended a Swiss-Swedish innovation roundtable organized by the non-for-profit organizations Innosuisse and Vinnova, hosted by the Swedish embassy in Bern.
Nestled in the Alps, the setting provided an idyllic place to discuss the long-term trends shaping international competitiveness of both nations’ industries. The event was attended by other senior business leaders such as the CEOs of ABB, H2GreenSteel and Synhelion as well as esteemed academics from Swiss and Swedish universities.
Mattias was invited to share his thoughts on ‘The Swedish Perceptive on Innovation’ and had this to say about the event.
“The conference was a great experience; I enjoyed the opportunity to establish MTEK as a thought leader and explore why Sweden is consistently able to place as the top of the global innovation index.”
His speech focused on MTEK’s experience developing a manufacturing digitization solution in Alfta Sweden, and how the company is utilizing digital tools for manufacturing to face international challenges such as CO2 emission calculations to achieve Climate Neutrality.
